Childcare Group Africa was an idea conceived in October 2011 in the mind of a fresh graduate from Nairobi – Kenya who saw an existing gap and sought to fill it. Having not successfully made it in the best 20 proposals in the Business Daily’s Next Big Thing – More Possibilities Contest, he resiliently pressed on and brought on board two fellow graduates who together joined forces and carefully, through continuous research developed a business plan which would later serve as the road map to the realization of the vision.
Childcare Group Africa would later be incorporated on 18th July, 2013 under the Company’s Act in Kenya. Operations soon begun with the writing of a Curriculum, which saw the involvement of experts in the entire process. Our first training followed three months later with eighteen trainees and four members of staff taking part in the training. To date, we have had three successful trainings (one each year) and have seen an increasing growth in the number of satisfied clients who indeed enjoy a truly professional service.
The passion we pursued and viewed as a project to help create us employment would later become an anchor of hope for many who now view our company as an avenue through which they may now pursue their passions and feel spent in worthy purpose as they earn meaningful livelihoods to support their families.
